WASH FOR LIFE

Youth and college Groups around Texoma will hold an event called Wash For Life. They will hold car washes and all of the money raised will go to the local Pregnancy Help Center in Wichita Falls and Vernon. This will be a way many young people can make a difference for life and be one of the ways they can contribute to the May 10th Walk for Life. Every teen and college student has busy schedules and this is an event that your individual groups can plan a good time for you to participate. See if your youth group or college group is participating and get involved!

Information to Hold a Car Wash - (click here for day of Car Wash information)

Pick a Location - There should be a parking lot with an easy entrance and exit, next to a busy road. There should be places nearby where some of your crew can hold signs. And of course, there has to be working water spigots for hoses.
Advertise- The more effort you put into advertising, the more money you'll raise for your PHC. Put up posters around the area a couple days before; then on the day itself have people with big signs standing at key intersections. We will have signs and flyers on our website that you can download and print.
Announcements-Ask if you can make an announcement at your church or school the weekend before. See if you can include something in the bulletin or newsletter.
Invite-Everyone on the car washing crew should get their family and friends to come.
