Pregnancy Help Center’s annual Walk for Life is even more exciting when you raise donations and walk with a group of friends! Each team has a Team Captain, who may or may not be one the participants. The Team Captain’s role is to rally his/her team and serve as the contact between PHC and walkers on their team.
Become a Team Captain and recruit a team of walkers from your family, church, neighborhood, business, or community organizations. Your team’s involvement will exponentially increase the success of the Walk for Life 2008 and will create greater awareness of the ministry of PHC.

1. Pick a unique Team Name.

2. Register your team!

3. Tell each of your Walkers to pre-register. Download the Pre-registration form here in the website. Walkers who pre-register themselves will automatically be submitted into a drawing for a free overnight stay at a local bed and breakfast. The walker should become familiar with the Walk for Life Web site and the material needed to participate as a sponsored walker. The sample sponsor letter is a valuable tool for Walkers who would like to e-mail requests for sponsorship to friends and family listed on a computer address book.

4. As the Team Captain, consider pre-registering your entire team members. Log on to www.walkforlife.wfpregnancyhelpcenter.org for helpful information.

5. Set a team goal and encourage your team to meet it!

6. On Walk day, turn in sponsor forms as a team at the Registration table. Walkers will be eligible for prize drawings based on their individual effort. Team Captains will be eligible for prize drawings based on their individual effort and their team’s effort.
