Promoting the WALK for LIFE

The Walk for Life is successful each year due to people like you who get others involved. There are two ways you can get others involved: be a Team Captain or a Church Contact.

Team Captains organize and encouraged Walkers to walk as a team. Team Captains may or may not be a Walker themselves. If you want to walk in a group, please read more about Teams below.

Church Contacts are the liaison between PHC and local churches. They are a significant part of communicating the activities of our ministry! If you are currently a Contact or are interested in finding out more about how you can help us invite people from your church to be involved in the Walk for Life, please review the information below and call us in Wichita Falls at 322-4883 or in Vernon contact Sandra at 357-0220.

Church Contacts use the items in their Walk supply kit to promote the Walk for Life. Most of the items in the kit are downloadable.

Walk for Life Goals and Prizes -- Encourage new walkers with 2012 incentive prizes!
Team Information -- Everything a Team Captain needs to know!
Bulletin Announcements -- Customize our bulletin announcements for your church.
Promotional/Display Table -- How to have an informative, eye-catching Walk display in your church.
Sample Sponsor Letter -- Mail or E-Mail this sponsor letter to out-of-town family and friends. You can also cut and paste this letter into an E-mail and ask everyone in your computer address book to sponsor you.
