Get Involved and Make a Difference

It takes three simple steps to get involved in this exciting event.

Step one

PreRegister as a Walker fill out the registration section, then mail it to us. You can also register at the Walk for Life event.

Step Two
Download PreRegistration/Sponsor Form (Adobe.pdf file ) and start raising support by asking your family, friends, co-workers and neighbors to sponsor you with a single, generous tax-deductible gift for your participation in the event. Another effective way to contact friends and family is to e-mail your entire computer address book and ask them to sponsor you. We have provided a sample sponsor letter for your convenience. Become a Team Captain and recruit a team of walkers from your family, church, neighborhood, business, or community organizations. Your team’s involvement will exponentially increase the success of the Walk for Life 2008 and will create greater awareness of the ministry of the Pregnancy Help Centers in Wichita Falls and Vernon. You may collect your donations or simply turn in your sponsor forms on walk day or mail them to us and we will send each of your sponsors a thank you note with a return envelope for their donation. All checks collected need to be made out to the Pregnancy Help Center. A printed, legible sponsor form will help us process donations and issue donor receipts.

Step Three

Walk! Join us on May 10th in Wichita Falls at Lucy Park or in Vernon at the Vernon High School Stadium to celebrate life. The walk is not only easy and fun, but appropriate for the entire family, from babies in strollers to grandparents in wheelchairs. Throughout the morning there will be free family activities and refreshments for all.

We will walk rain or shine. If you can’t join us the day of the event, walk on your own in your favorite park or in your neighborhood. Simply put your sponsor form in an envelope and mail it to us. Please join us as we put our feet into action on Saturday, May 10th! See you at the Walk!
